You know how on occasion you meet someone knew and just immediately hit it off? That’s exactly how it went down with my new friend Casey! She came to the studio with her mom and newborn baby girl, Chandler, and as soon as I met them at the car, I felt like we were old friends!

Before they arrived, I had set up the studio with some new props I had been collecting. We had 3 different surfaces and multiple wraps and blankets. I was so excited to get started! I had also set out some dresses for Casey for her and Chandler’s portraits together. While she began looking through the dresses, Grandma and I got sweet Chandler ready.

This baby girl was absolutely precious. She was SO good! And she has the cutest little rolls ever <3 While she never really fell into a deep sleep, she was easy to pose and didn’t seem to mind me messing with her too much, lol.

After I finished getting all of Chandler’s solo pictures, we added Mom in. There is nothing sweeter than watching a mother with her new baby. You can see the love she has for baby Chandler captured in their portraits. And Casey was just beautiful in the dress she chose! It was soft and feminine, perfect for pictures with her daughter

“I’ve never been happier and my world was complete” Casey said when I asked her how she felt she saw her baby for the first time. I think you can see that contentment on her face!

I am so excited to see how this family continues to blossom, and I just know there are some very special years in their future. I’ll leave you with a few more images from our session!
